Love Brownies is a new luxury chocolate gift-service based in Ilkley, West Yorkshire. Set up by chef Chantal Teal, the new company offers beautifully packaged boxes of delicious chocolate brownies, complete with a greeting and hand written message - the perfect alternative to giving flowers.
We Make Websites were approached by design consultancy Supafrank (who created the brand, identity and packaging), to design and build an e-commerce website that would be the main sales channel for the new venture. The site allows visitors to choose a greeting, enter a personal message and select a delivery date before sending over the order to the bakery where Chantal can quickly and easily pick up the order and start baking the brownies.
"I am so pleased with it and I am so chuffed we went with [We Make Websites] as it was such the right decision."

The London Design Consortium (LDC) brings together five organisations in London which provide designer-makers with the workspaces, training and services that equip them to successfully carry on and expand their creative businesses.
We Make Websites were approached to provide a one-page online presence for the LDC with the aim of highlighting the member organisations and the services the consortium will provide as a whole. We were also asked to create a contemporary identity for the LDC that reflected its design roots.
In August 2010, nine friends from university are coming together to cycle across the UK in memory of their close friend Matt Elvidge with the aim of raising money for the Matt Elvidge Trust - A trust that focuses on increasing the awareness of depression, its signs and behaviours that may result in suicide in young people.
We Make Websites were approached to design and build a website to help raise awareness for the cause and also allow the team to track their progress in both training and throughout the cycle itself. We, of course, said yes, building the site free of charge and, in the process, creating a brand for the team.

The brief was to streamline Craft Central’s previously manual booking process by creating an online event booking system, to manage event bookings, training for desiger-makers and membership of the Craft Central Network. It was crucial that the system was intuitive to use by visitors to the site and easy for the Craft Central team to administer.
"The new booking system has been invaluable to Craft Central . It is straightforward to use and streamlines many aspects of our workload, therefore making life easier all round - both internally for staff and externally for the members and visitors who book our events.
As a design led organisation, the quality of design was fundamental and We Make Websites delivered on this too – we have received countless compliments on the site, for both functionality and design. Thank you We Make Websites!"

They are regularly looking at their own work, even after delivery, to make sure that they have given the best they can - a remarkable level of professionalism for a small creative outfit." - Jit Pey, Crafts Council
